Position: Video Captioning – Optimal Character Recognition (OCR) Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $35/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours per week

Role Responsibilities

• Identify and write out all visual text appearing in short videos.
• Timestamp each text element with precise start and end times.
• Apply structured guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluations.
• Review multimedia content including social media videos, how-tos, and documentaries.
• Work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Experience in annotation, data labeling, or content evaluation.
• Strong English writing skills with the ability to produce clear, precise outputs.
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency.
• Comfort working independently in a flexible, remote environment.
• General familiarity with video and multimedia content.
