In this position you will…
Play a critical role in strengthening bolttech’s market presence and commercial success by managing and expanding key strategic partnerships across Europe. You will serve as the primary relationship lead for a portfolio of high-value accounts, working closely with partners to drive mutual growth through bolttech’s innovative, technology-enabled insurance and protection solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will identify opportunities, deliver value-added solutions, and ensure long-term partner satisfaction and retention.
You will be responsible for…
- Leading the overall relationship management and performance of strategic distribution partners in your region.
- Developing and executing tailored account strategies to achieve revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., Product, Technology, Operations, Legal, Marketing) to deliver seamless and scalable partner solutions.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing partner performance data, and generating actionable insights to optimize outcomes.
- Supporting the implementation of bolttech’s platform capabilities, from onboarding to launch and beyond.
- Proactively identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and contributing to broader business development efforts.
- Maintaining deep industry and market knowledge to position bolttech as an innovative and strategic partner.
- Representing bolttech at external meetings, industry events, and partner engagements as a senior commercial leader.
To be successful you will require the following competencies & skills

- Strategic Account Management: Proven experience in managing complex, high-value accounts, ideally in insurtech, insurance, financial services, or digital platforms.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of business drivers, revenue models, and performance metrics, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Relationship Building: Ability to develop trusted, long-term relationships at senior stakeholder levels across partner organizations.
- Execution & Delivery: Strong project management skills with a focus on implementation, timelines, and partner satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Exceptional cross-functional communication and coordination skills, with a track record of influencing without authority.
- Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed, and evolving environment with changing priorities.
- Technical Affinity: Ability to understand digital product capabilities and translate them into commercial value propositions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch; additional languages (e.g., French and German) are a plus.
- Experience: 15+ years in key account management, strategic partnerships, or business development roles; experience across multiple European markets is highly advantageous.
- Industry Background (Mandatory): Previous experience in the financial services sector and insurance.
