£60,000 basic £120,000 OTE (uncapped)

At BMS, we've been engaged by a fast-growing challenger in the education technology space to recruit a New Logo Growth Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that's scaling rapidly in the UK and Europe and preparing to launch a ground-breaking AI tool in 2025.

The Company

Our client is a specialist software provider to the education sector, helping institutions optimise their planning, resource allocation and student experience. With over 80 UK customers already, they're positioned as a nimble challenger brand in a market dominated by slower, traditional players.

Having recently received significant investment, the company is now entering an ambitious growth phase - scaling its sales function in the UK and extending reach across Europe. The upcoming launch of an AI-native scheduling tool will streamline room allocation and change requests, saving universities and colleges huge amounts of time and resource.

This is a rare opportunity to join a business with a proven product, strong leadership, and genuine momentum - all while being small enough that your impact will be visible and highly valued.

The Role

As a New Logo Growth Manager, you'll be responsible for winning new business across the UK higher and further education markets. With 400+ potential institutions to target, you'll be developing relationships at senior level - from operational leadership to IT Directors and Finance leaders.

  • Own the full sales cycle - from prospecting through to signed contract (handover then goes to an Account Manager).
  • Blend approaches - cold outreach, events, marketing leads, and the occasional RFP.
  • Average deal sizes around £100K per year.
  • Long-cycle, high-value sales (6-12 months), requiring patience, structure, and persistence.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and benefit from continuous training and development.

The Candidate

We're looking for a driven salesperson who has:

  • 4+ years of proven closing experience in B2B software sales.
  • A strong track record of selling into the public sector, ideally education.
  • The ability to demonstrate use of a defined sales process (SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC, etc.).
  • Tenacity and resilience - able to handle "not the right time" objections.
  • A strategic approach to market development and the persistence to stick with long sales cycles.

The Package

  • Basic Salary: Up to £60,000
  • OTE: £120,000 (uncapped) - Commission paid on signature
  • Holidays: 25 days
  • Benefits: Pension, benefits portal allowance, electric car scheme (after 6 months), mileage expenses, mobile provided
