The Opportunity
We are looking for a creative, proactive, and digitally savvy Social Media Manager to shape and elevate the global corporate social media presence of an internationally recognized brand in English-speaking markets.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, content creation, social trends, and transforming complex topics into engaging and accessible content for a global audience.
You will work closely with international stakeholders, external creative agencies, and a global communications team, acting as a key link between strategy, creativity, and execution.
The position reports directly to the Communications Manager based in Germany and involves close collaboration with an international team, including five external social media specialists based in the UK.
What your day-to-day will look like
- Develop, create, and publish content across corporate social media channels including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and YouTube
- Write compelling English copy that transforms corporate messaging into engaging, social-first communication
- Conceptualize and produce short-form video content such as Reels, Stories, and other dynamic formats, independently or together with external creative agencies
- Review, refine, and adapt social media assets and content proposals provided by partner agencies
- Research trends, evaluate content opportunities, and manage internal topic suggestions
- Own recurring content series while helping introduce innovative social media formats and ideas
- Support channel management activities including analytics, reporting, paid media coordination, and performance tracking
- Analyze content performance and implement learnings to continuously improve engagement and reach
- Collaborate closely within an international virtual content team and participate in global editorial planning sessions
- Act as the connection point between the marketing agency and the global corporate communication team
- Ensure excellent dialogue management and community interaction standards across platforms
What We’re Looking For
- Native-level or near-native English proficiency (C2 level required - Please note: candidates will complete an English spelling and writing assessment during the recruitment process, aligned with the UK English communication style and language standards used across the company’s global corporate channels
- Proven experience in social media content creation and channel management
- Strong hands-on knowledge of major social media platforms and digital publishing tools
- Experience using creative and content tools such as Canva (advanced level required) and ideally Percolate
- Academic background in Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism, Digital Media, or related fields
- Previous experience in Corporate Communications, PR, Marketing, or Social Media within an agency or international corporate environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful content creation and social media campaigns
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, autonomy, and reliability
- Interest in making technical or complex topics engaging and accessible through content
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in multicultural and virtual team environments
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
What’s on Offer
- Total compensation package of EUR28,000 gross/year
- Monday to Friday schedule: 09:00 to 17:00
