Growth Marketer
Job Description
Posted on: April 1, 2026
About Advisory AI
Advisory AI builds AI-powered tools that help UK financial advisers automate their most time-consuming work: suitability reports, meeting notes, compliance checks, and client data management. We're not a startup pitching an idea. We're a bootstrapped company that's scaled to £2M ARR with a product that 300+ firms actually use, ranked #2 on AdviserSoftware.com and #1 most-used on FTAdviser in H1 2025.
In the last three months, we've launched a new conversational AI interface, rebuilt our competitive positioning, stood up specialist agencies across multiple channels, consolidated our HubSpot pipeline, and started building the content engine this market needs.
We're targeting £7M ARR by the end of 2026, and we have the budget, the team, and the product to get there. What we don't have is someone full-time in the UK to run and grow the growth machine's day-to-day. That's this role.
The role
You'll be Advisory first Growth Marketer: the person who owns pipeline generation, agency performance, lifecycle marketing, and revenue operations. This is both a strategic and executional role. You'll set the direction with leadership, then make it happen across paid media, SEO/AEO, outbound, prospecting, and the full customer lifecycle.
You're not building from zero. Three agencies are already contracted and producing. A fractional Head of Marketing sets the strategy. A PMM runs product marketing and content. A CCO and 2 BDRs / 1 CSM / 2 Support in sales. You'll sit at the centre of all of it, making sure every pound of budget converts into pipeline and every lead gets properly routed, scored, and followed up.
You'll report to the Head of Marketing (interim) and work closely with the PMM on content and product marketing.
What you'll ownAgency management
- Manage agencies across six channels: LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, SEO/AEO, Reddit, cold calling, and cold email
- Run weekly performance reviews, set targets, challenge underperformance, and reallocate budget based on what's working
- Own the agency cockpit: a single operational view of every controllable variable across all channels
- Coordinate creative briefs, landing page tests, audience targeting, and campaign launches with Product Marketing
Revenue operations
- Own HubSpot as the single source of truth for pipeline, lead scoring, lifecycle stages, and reporting
- Manage Instantly for cold email sequences, deliverability, and inbox rotation
- Build and maintain Clay enrichment workflows for lead qualification and account research
- Ensure clean data flows between all tools so sales always has what they need
Lifecycle marketing
- Own the full lifecycle in HubSpot and Customer.io: from first touch through activation, expansion, and re-engagement
- Build and optimise automated nurture sequences for every stage: lead nurture, trial onboarding, post-sale activation, upsell/cross-sell, and win-back
- Manage segment definitions and ensure lists stay clean: by persona, lifecycle stage, product usage, engagement score, and firmographic criteria
- Design trigger-based workflows that respond to product signals, engagement thresholds, and sales handoff events
- Own onboarding email sequences that convert free trials to paid and continuously improve conversion rates
- Build expansion campaigns that move single-product customers to the full platform → Track lifecycle KPIs: activation rate, time-to-value, net revenue retention, churn risk signals, and campaign-level conversion at every stage
Outbound
- Coordinate AI-assisted outbound across cold email and phone prospecting via specialist agencies
- Own the feedback loop between outbound results and ICP refinement
AEO/SEO and Paid Marketing
- Coordinate SEO/AEO content production with the agencies, ensuring briefs match our positioning
- Support LinkedIn and Google Ads content distribution and paid amplification
Budget and performance
- Track spend across all channels against MQL, meeting, and revenue targets → Report weekly on pipeline contribution by channel
- Flag what's working, kill what isn't, and propose where to double down
How we work
Advisory AI builds AI tools for advisers, and we run on AI internally too. Here's what that looks like:
- Campaign briefs and plans drafted in Claude, not from scratch in a Google Doc
- Clay enrichment workflows that qualify, score, and route leads automatically
- AI-assisted competitive monitoring and market intelligence → Automated reporting that surfaces insights, not just data
- Continuous experimentation: if there's a manual process, we automate it
We'll give you access to every AI tool you need. If a new one makes you faster, we'll get it.
Requirements
Must-haves:
- 5+ years track record in B2B SaaS growth marketing, demand gen, or revenue marketing. We care about what you've built and the results you've driven, not how many years it took
- AI-native workflow: you use Claude, Cursor, or similar tools as your default working environment, not as a side experiment. You build workflows with AI, automate repetitive processes, and look for every opportunity to remove manual work from your day
- Hands-on experience managing agencies (paid media, SEO, outbound, or similar) → Strong HubSpot skills: pipeline management, lead scoring, workflows, automations, reporting
- Experience building lifecycle programs: nurture sequences, onboarding flows, expansion triggers, and re-engagement programs
- Experience with outbound tools (Instantly, Apollo, or similar)
- Comfortable with data: you can pull a report, spot a trend, and act on it
- Based in the UK with the right to work. Remote also accepted.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in fintech or regulated industries
- Familiarity with AI-powered products and how to position them to a sceptical buyer
- Experience with Clay for enrichment and lead qualification
- Experience with Customer.io or similar lifecycle/messaging platforms
- Track record of scaling a company from £2-5M ARR
Compensation
- Base salary: £50,000 per year
- Variable component: Tied to quarterly pipeline generation and revenue targets. The structure will be agreed during the offer process, but expect meaningful upside if you hit your numbers.
- Remote-first: Work from anywhere in the UK/EU with occasional London meetups
- Full access to AI tools: Claude Pro, Cursor, and any other tools that make you faster
Why this role
This isn't a "figure it out from scratch" job. The hard strategy work is done. The agencies are hired. The positioning is sharp. The budget is allocated. What we need is someone who can take the wheel and drive, making sure every channel performs, every lead gets routed, and every pound of spend earns its keep.
You'll join a company that's bootstrapped its way to £2M ARR in a market that's growing fast. UK financial advisers are adopting AI tools right now, and Advisory AI is one of the leaders. The trajectory from here to £7M ARR is clear. We need someone to help us execute it.
How to apply
No CV. No cover letter. Three things:
- Your LinkedIn profile URL. This is your resume. Make it count.
- A 3-minute Loom walking us through something you built with Claude, Cursor, or similar AI tools. What was manual? What did you build? What happened?
- One page: your taste test. Pick 3 B2B SaaS companies with exceptional growth marketing. For each: one screenshot, one line on why it's great, and one thing you'd steal for Advisory AI.
If this application format excites you, you're probably the right person.
