Role Overview
The Head of Sales & Marketing – Australia & New Zealand will lead TRYX’s commercial efforts in the region, responsible for building market presence, scaling channel partnerships, and executing go-to-market plans.
This is a remote-based role with high autonomy, ideal for a hands-on and strategic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Location: Sydney or Melbourne preferred (open to other major cities in AZ)
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Channel Management
- Own and drive the ANZ sales strategy aligned with APAC and global goals.
- Develop strong partnerships with local distributors, retailers (offline & online), system builders, and e-commerce platforms.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and revenue forecasting.
- Identify growth opportunities in both B2B and B2C verticals.
Marketing & Brand Execution
- Localize and implement brand and marketing initiatives tailored for the ANZ market.
- Coordinate local product launches, social campaigns, events, community activations, and influencer marketing.
- Manage digital performance marketing and brand awareness efforts with external partners/agencies (if applicable).
- Analyze market data, customer trends, and campaign KPIs to optimize marketing impact.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Report directly to the APAC Regional Head and collaborate closely with global teams in product, operations, and branding.
- Provide regular updates on market performance, risks, opportunities, and competitor activity.
- Act as the local voice of TRYX in ANZ, offering market insights to help shape global strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of combined sales and marketing experience in PC hardware, consumer electronics, or gaming tech industry.
- Deep understanding of the PC DIY ecosystem and buyer behavior in Australia/New Zealand.
- Proven success in managing multi-channel distribution, including distributorsm, system intergrators and etailers.
- Strong digital marketing acumen, including social, influencer, and performance marketing.
- Self-starter with high ownership, capable of working independently in a remote setup.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
