Demand Generation Manager
Remote UK
About the role
Our client is a fast-scaling, AI-powered SaaS platform used by enterprise and mid-market businesses globally, looking for a Demand Generation Manager to own the top of the funnel: driving qualified pipeline through organic channels and owned paid budget.
This is a pipeline-accountable role rather than a brand or content-focused one, offering the chance to join a platform that has already established strong traction in the market, while still operating with the agility and impact of a small, growing team.
This role will be sitting with the Sales team.
What you'll be doing
- Owning organic acquisition: SEO, content distribution, community/social, partnerships and co-marketing
- Planning and managing paid spend across paid search, paid social and retargeting against a defined CAC target
- Building nurture sequences (email/lifecycle) to move leads from top-of-funnel to sales-ready
- Defining and owning the MQL → SQL handoff with Sales, including lead scoring criteria
- Running experiments across channels and killing/scaling based on cost-per-lead and pipeline contribution
- Maintaining and optimising landing pages and basic on-page SEO
- Weekly funnel reporting (MQLs, SQLs, cost-per-lead, channel ROI) and monthly readouts to senior leadership
- Owning the marketing side of the CRM/marketing automation stack (HubSpot)
What success looks like
- 90 days: funnel instrumented and reporting live, at least one paid and one organic channel live
- 6 months: predictable pipeline contribution from 2–3 channels, CAC trending down
- 12 months: demand gen contributing a defined, measurable share of new pipeline each quarter
What we're looking for
- Approx 3-6 years in B2B SaaS marketing, with demand generation or growth marketing as the core focus (not a generalist marketing background)
- Direct, hands-on paid budget experience; not just briefing an agency
- Comfortable owning a number and being measured against it, sales-rep style
- Working knowledge of a marketing automation/CRM platform (HubSpot preferred)
- SEO and content distribution literacy
- Experience of working in a small company set up
Offer
- £65,000 + commision + equity
- Fully remote
- Quarterly onsite QBRs (Oslo, London)
- Ability to carve out and shape the department
