Partnerships ManagerReports to: Managing Director

Salary: £40,000 with bonus structure (35hrs weekly)

Location: UK-based (remote with 1 x monthly in-person team meeting in London)

Probation Period: 6 months (2 week notice period pre-probation, 1 month notice period post-probation)

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role, so the role requires the right to work in the UK.

About Us

Hiya! We’re the Women in Tech SEO community, and we’re so excited to be hiring for this role on a full-time basis for the first time. Over the past 6 years, we’ve grown to a thriving, engaged community of over 10,000 members for women and people of marginalised genders in the digital marketing space. Our community space is free for our members, and our funding comes from our partners and sponsors. We also hold in-person conferences in London, Berlin, Portland, Philadelphia & Melbourne.

This role will focus on deepening and expanding our partnerships — building meaningful, long-term relationships with organisations that share our values and vision. We’re looking for someone with a few years of experience managing partnerships or client relationships, who’s confident in driving conversations, identifying opportunities, and creating mutual value between communities and brands. You’ll play a key role in strengthening our existing network while helping shape the future of our partnership strategy.

Shared Commitments

Following The WTS Way through our work, we will strive to think critically about the work we do, how we treat each other, how we show up, and how the decisions we make align with that code of conduct.

  • We know we will all make mistakes, learn, grow, and do better next time
  • We agree to correct each other with kindness when we do find each other straying

Role Responsibilities

This role will directly support the sustainability of our WTS community - helping to keep the community free for all members and helping those who financially support us to find the beautiful intersection of reciprocal value exchange with our members.

Vision and Mission

  • Champion our mission to support, empower, and amplify women and people of marginalised genders in the marketing & tech space
  • Build partnerships that align with our community values and long-term goals
  • Ensure all partnership activities positively reflect our mission and impact

Partnership Development

  • Identify and build relationships with potential partners and sponsors across relevant industries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and collaboration
  • Develop tailored sponsorship proposals and partnership packages
  • Manage partner communications, including renewals, reporting, and feedback

Collaboration & Activation

  • Work closely with partners to deliver partnership campaigns
  • Coordinate partner deliverables for events, newsletters, and campaigns
  • Support partners in maximising their visibility and value within our community

Events & Sponsorship

  • Oversee partnership logistics for our in-person conferences and online events
  • Ensure partner benefits are delivered to a high standard
  • Gather feedback post-event and contribute to partnership reports

Strategy, Operations & Reporting

  • Develop strategy to hit revenue targets and maintain business sustainability
  • Maintain and update partnership records in our CRM and documentation tools
  • Track partnership performance, renewals, and income pipelines
  • Support financial and administrative processes related to sponsorships

Personal Attributes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication — clear, kind, and professional
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience managing multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organised and able to manage several partnerships and timelines simultaneously
  • Comfortable in negotiation and confident when presenting ideas or proposals
  • Creative approach to identifying and developing new partnership opportunities
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment
  • As we are a 100% remote team, it is helpful if you have a preference for remote working

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a related field
  • A passion for working with mission-driven organisations
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing partnership pipelines
  • Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion (or similar)
