Position: The Senior Director of Digital Marketing will oversee the development and implementation of best practices in digital marketing and media strategy. This role is crucial for enhancing customer engagement through strategic partnerships with media agencies and ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience across various platforms. The director will also promote innovation and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts and improve business results. Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in digital ecosystem design by sharing best practices for programmatic advertising, social media, SEO/SEM, and third-party partnerships
- Stay informed about the changing digital marketing landscape, including data and privacy regulations and technological advancements
- Establish standards and best practices for media agency partnerships to ensure consistent operations across the US Commercial business
- Drive innovation by testing new targeting methods and partners through data-driven experimentation
- Report on digital performance and extract actionable insights, collaborating with the advanced analytics team to demonstrate the value of digital expenditures
- Determine the best strategy for establishing bi-directional data feeds between Alexion and its media partners to enable timely outreach and reporting
- Advocate for new data sources and technological innovations to enhance efficiency and improve outreach to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree with over 7 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field (such as analytics, media buying, or marketing)
- A deep understanding of digital marketing tactics, including programmatic advertising, social media, SEO/SEM, and the technology platforms that support them
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey new ideas to various stakeholders effectively
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate omnichannel performance and identify key insights for actionable improvements
- A proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget, resulting in enhanced customer engagement and positive business outcomes
