Title: Director of Social Media Performance & Creative_Location: Remote | U.S.-Based Only__Status: Full-Time_About the Role

Local & Qualified is seeking a Director of Social Media Performance & Creative, a hybrid leader who can dominate paid social advertising while also producing high-impact creative content that drives real lead generation results.

This role is built for a one-person social media marketing powerhouse who understands how to craft scroll-stopping creative, turn that creative into high-converting social ads, and guide a social posting team toward consistent, high-quality output. You must be equal parts strategist, creator, and performance marketer.

If you are the type of person who can concept, build, launch, optimize, and scale social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other key platforms, while also operating as the creative engine behind them, you will thrive here.

What You Will Do

You will own all aspects of paid social performance, creative production, and social channel quality, including:

Paid Social Advertising

You will build, launch, and optimize high-performing campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other social platforms. You will drive measurable lead generation, conversion growth, and ROI across multiple client verticals, including performance analysis, iteration, testing, and scaling strategies.

Creative Production and Ad Creative Development

You will create the still-image and video creatives that power ads, including reels, TikToks, Shorts, AI-generated video, and edited assets using footage from our videography partners. You will develop copy, hooks, angles, and creative concepts with a direct-response mindset. You are the creative lead on all paid social assets.

Social Media Oversight and Quality Control

You will oversee the social posting team, review their work, ensure brand consistency and quality, approve posts, and maintain strategic direction for all social calendars and posting output.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is highly creative, deeply experienced in paid social, and driven by measurable performance outcomes. We are looking for someone who has strong expertise in Meta and TikTok advertising, understands direct-response lead generation, knows how to build creative that converts, and can oversee a team while personally driving the creative and performance engine.

You should be someone who operates with urgency, takes ownership, understands modern social content, and enjoys producing creative at a high level.

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in paid social advertising, ideally within an agency
  • Strong expertise in Meta and TikTok ads, especially for lead generation
  • Proven ability to create ad-ready social creative, both static and video
  • Experience editing short-form videos and reels
  • Ability to leverage AI tools for creative production
  • Strong communication and quality control skills for reviewing social content
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
  • Must be U.S.-based and able to work standard U.S. Eastern business hours
  • A portfolio of previous ad creative is strongly preferred
