We are looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager with deep client-facing and local marketing experience to join our rapidly expanding team. You’ll directly manage search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns across both Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube) and Microsoft Ads, making optimizations and updates daily. You will also support the team with Meta Ads campaigns. Your complex and diverse portfolio of clients will be a mix of local and SMBs that constantly challenges you with goals to maximize performance, reach, and customer acquisition across these channels.
The Senior Paid Media Manager will report to the Director, Franchise Partnerships. The position will also work with our global support teams within AdMax Local. He/she should be able to work well as part of a distributed team and provide innovative solutions to the new problems and opportunities that arise every week. In addition, they should have the ability to function equally well independently and as part of a team, as well as the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
This remote role requires one in-person company outing each quarter and a few client QBR meetings a year, if applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive paid media strategies to drive revenue, direct response, qualified leads, and new user acquisition for your book of clients
- Utilize business acumen to work closely with client teams to identify and fully understand business needs, campaign performance objectives, and opportunities to grow relationships and client investments
- Manage Search, Performance Max, Display, Social, Remarketing, App Install, and Video advertising campaigns within the native Google, Meta, and Microsoft platforms and the proprietary AdMax Local platform
- Communicate strategy and campaign progress to clients through weekly calls and emails
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for ad copy, keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, creative, display network, and other facets of Google inventory
- Integrate consumer and business insights into media to enhance targeting and tracking efforts
- Optimize performance marketing campaigns to meet and exceed SEM and paid social campaign benchmarks through channel-specific levers utilizing industry best practices
- Responsible for monthly reporting on campaign performance with a keen eye toward media optimization to ensure efficient and effective campaign execution
- Responsible for tight management of paid media budget, providing timely management of vendor setup, invoicing, and accruals
- Manage the creative development process, including writing creative briefs, trafficking, creative insights, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client direction. Requires a solid understanding of the creative process and creative development best business practices.
Qualifications:
- US based applicants only
- 7+ years of experience managing multiple client portfolios in SEM (Search, Display, Remarketing, App Install). 1+ years Performance Max and Shopping experience.
- 5-7+ years of experience managing multiple client portfolios in paid social (Facebook/Instagram)
- TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Twitter a plus
- 7+ years of experience in Client Management (Must be comfortable with a high volume of client meetings some weeks)
- Experience working and developing strategy for clients with multiple franchise locations.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize and respond with an appropriate sense of urgency in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing Paid Search, Paid Social, Paid Display, and YouTube campaign management and optimizations at scale
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, attribution, ads implementation, and platform integration (Excel skills required)
- Detail-oriented, able to build project plans and presentations with strategic input
- A proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional leads and existing teams
- Experience driving campaigns from concept through to execution, and performing post-campaign analysis
- Experience with analytics/tracking tools: Google Analytics (Universal & GA4), SEMRush, Google Tag Manager, Meta Business Suite
- Experience optimizing landing pages and performing A/B and multivariate testing
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional business environment
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree a plus
- Bing Ads Accredited Professional (Preferred)
- Google AdWords Certified (Preferred)
- Meta BluePrint Certified (Preferred)
- Google Analytics Certified is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range ($80k - $120k) depending on experience and location
