Client is seeking an experienced Global Social Media Manager to expand and manage a globally distributed 24/7 team dedicated to protecting Client reputation on social media. This role will focus on crisis management, influencer engagement, and proactive brand protection strategies. You will lead a team responsible for monitoring and responding to viral content, social media crises, and brand reputation issues while optimizing workflows within Sprinklr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand and manage a 24/7 global team dedicated to social media brand protection.
- Onboard and coach new team members while optimizing day-to-day operations.
- Oversee Sprinklr workflows for influencer engagement and crisis management.
- Lead crisis response efforts, including social listening, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Develop executive-level reports and communications for leadership.
- Manage relationships with influencers, celebrities, and key stakeholders to mitigate reputational risks.
- Elevate customer care by integrating a marketing and communications approach.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and propose process improvements.
- Work cross-functionally with policy, legal, PR, and marketing teams.
- Be available for on-call crisis management during nights and weekends as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing social media for a high-profile brand with reputation concerns.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in social media community management and crisis response.
- Expertise in Sprinklr, Brand watch, and other social listening tools.
- Proven experience managing brand crises and influencer relationships.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to de-escalate negative engagements and shift brand perception positively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with creative copywriting experience.
- Analytical mindset to measure impact and improve social media strategies.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and handle remote team collaboration.
- Previous experience in customer care operations and social media engagement strategies.
